Cnc Operator

We are currently looking for experienced CNC Machinists (Millers or Turners) to join the existing team at our clients Prestwick facility.

You will join an employee-owned company offering competitive pay, excellent benefits and long‑term career security where you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machinery to manufacture high‑precision components.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC milling or turning machines
• Work confidently with Fanuc controls
• Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings
• Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet specification
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
• Work effectively within a rotating shift pattern
• Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures

Candidate Requirements

• Time‑served CNC Machinist apprenticeship
• Minimum 2 years post‑apprenticeship CNC machining experience
• Strong CNC programming and machine setting experience
• Proficient in Fanuc control systems
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Reliable, flexible and able to work rotating shifts

Working Hours

Week 1

• Monday – Thursday: 6am – 2pm
• Friday: 6am – 11am

Week 2

• Monday – Thursday: 2pm – 10pm
• Friday: 11am – 4pm
