Radiology Clerical Officer

Clerical Officer – Northwick Park Hospital Radiology Department

We are seeking a Clerical Officer to provide comprehensive and efficient reception and examinations booking service to patients attending the Imaging Department.

The role includes the following key responsibilities:

• Lead booking for a particular modality, ensuring bookings meet national waiting time standards.
• Manage an efficient process of initial patient assessment for all imaging request forms.
• Act as the first point of contact for patients, general public, and medical staff upon arrival to the department.
• Manage ID badge issuance and security checks for visitors and delegates.
• Handle all telephone queries from patients, GPs, consultants, and other hospitals, including appointment changes, conflict resolution, and image requests.
• Ensure all telephone calls to the call centre are answered within the agreed time and meet Trust telephone standard.
• Work independently, prioritise workload, and liaise closely with the wider administration team in the department.
