A vacancy has arisen for a paralegal to join our Real Estate team, to be based in our Bristol or Leeds office (with flexible hybrid-working).
The role
This role will involve supporting our lawyers who advise clients across various aspects of commercial property, but with a particular emphasis on acquisitions, disposals, development agreements and the full range of landlord and tenant matters.
As a paralegal in the team, you’ll not only enhance your technical skills and legal knowledge, but also gain valuable opportunities to meet clients and build your professional network.

What we are looking for from you
The successful applicant will possess the following skills, which are key to the role:
- Prior experience in dealing with leases, licences to occupy, licences to assign, licences to underlet, tenancies at will, licences to alter and other ancillary landlord and tenant documentation (under supervision) advantageous.
- The ability to conduct basic title investigation, review searches and enquiries, raise enquiries and report to the client with minimal supervision
- Experience in dealing with all aspects of post completion including SDLT forms and submissions and Land Registry applications and requisitions (under supervision)
- Excellent organisational skills to manage and prioritise own caseload (with supervision) and assist fee earners with their workloads and priorities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in attending regular multi-party client update calls preferable (with senior fee earner assistance) advantageous.
- The ability to assist with the management of team billing responsibilities
