Transport Operator

We are hiring for a TrafficOperatorto join our busy transport team inStowmarket! This is a greatongoingtempopportunity witha global supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Dispatching and debriefing drivers
• Paperwork housekeeping
• Helping to resolve issues and disputes, including driver queries
• Executing the day plan

Qualifications & Skills

• Attention to detail
• Time management
• Great teamplayer
• Confident working alone
• Transport knowledge desirable
• Excellent communication skills -you’llbe speaking regularly with various stakeholders
• Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel and Outlook

You will be a vital part of the transport office team, dealing with drivers as well as the customer and your colleagues.

Previoustransport planning or transport admin experience is preferable but not essential.

Full training is provided.

Shift Details

• Monday to Friday
• 6AM-3PM
• PAYE – £13.33per hour

Opportunity available for the right candidate to increase this based on performance and ability to pick up additionaltasks.
