Job Description
Prince Henry’s are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Sixth Form Study Support Assistant to join their pastoral staff team. You will work under the guidance of the Assistant Headteacher: Post 16 Learning to ensure that students make productive use of their private study time, manage out‑of‑class learning, and develop effective study habits.
Key details: NJC Grade B1‑B3, Scale Points 4‑11; Salary £13,027.11 – £14,556.64 per annum; Permanent; 22.5 hours per week, term‑time only, plus 2 additional days; Start date 1st September 2026.
Candidate Profile
Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Minimum 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) Grades A*‑C including English and Mathematics
- A proven track record in working with young people and understanding their needs
- An understanding of principles of child development and learning processes
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to support, enthuse and motivate students
