Job Overview

United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (ULTH) are seeking a highly motivated Estates Mechanically Bias Technician who will be based in the Estates department at Grantham Hospital. The post holder is required to play a proactive part within the Estates Technical team to meet Trust objectives in a safe, cost effective, efficient manner in compliance with legislation and good practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise operational maintenance for the estates maintenance team under the guidance of the Estates Officers.
• Be appointed as an Authorised or Competent Person as required by the organisation.
• Support the delivery of the specific Estates Services across designated site(s) that will contribute to and support the Trust’s objectives.
• Provide and nurture a patient‑centred environment via the provision of Estates Services whilst recognising their contribution to the overall patient experience.
• Provide both technical and non‑technical advice to both clinical and non‑clinical professionals.
• Support the delivery of technical policy and procedures and implementation of documentation to the maintenance team and ensure compliance in various specialist disciplines.
• Report directly to the Estates management team and provide effective technical support for Estates & Capital Services.
• Encourage proactive team working and support flexible working arrangements.
• Accept training and development opportunities to enhance skills and support the Trust’s needs.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge and applicable skills in an engineering related discipline.
