Role: Night shift Operative – Traffic Management – IPV Operative/Trainee

Location: Winchester SO21 1RD

Hours: General hours of work are 48 hours per week, and is night shift work. Overtime available.

Salary: Competitive pay depending on qualification, location and experience, plus benefits and overtime opportunity.

Your role

  • Drive the IPV
  • Undertake traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses
  • Help and guide new trainees

Trainee? No problem! As long as you hold your HGV Class 2 licence we have the tools to get you trained to become an IPV Operative.

Essential Qualifications

  • Lantra 12ab qualification
  • Class 2/Category C licence
  • IPV qualification
  • Knowledge of Chapter 8 regulations
  • Full driving licence with no more than 6 points; any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago
  • Must pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Positive, can‑do mindset
  • Adaptability, flexibility and meticulous attention to detail
