Flying Start Childcare Officer (Welsh Medium)

Wrexham Flying Start wishes to recruit a confident, highly motivated and knowledgeable Flying Start Childcare Officer to join our Flying Start Advisory Team. This vacancy is fixed‑term and is a term‑time only post. The ability to work flexibly and to travel between various settings across Wrexham is essential.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility of approach; a strong sense of teamwork and a high level of understanding of child development 0–4 years old. Experience working within the Childcare sector/Early Years would be beneficial.

This post requires an excellent understanding of child development and well‑developed communication skills.

The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is essential.

An enhanced DBS clearance is essential for working within the Flying Start team.

Post to commence as soon as the successful candidate can be released and subject to usual employment checks and DBS arrangements.
