Salary: £93 – £110 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support secondary schools across Spalding from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with young people and making a positive difference in their educational journey.

The successful candidate will work alongside teachers and support staff to help students reach their full potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support students in lessons on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation
• Encourage positive behaviour and active participation
• Support pupils with additional learning needs where required
• Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable)
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for education and student development
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
