Job Details

• Location: Gloucester, ON K1T 3V7
• Salary: $25.00 to $34.00 hourly (to be negotiated)
• Hours: 40 to 44 per week
• Employment type: Seasonal, full time

The candidate will perform all on-site duties; remote work is not possible.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vehicle condition, including inspection of tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Tarp cargo and ensure safety and security of cargo

Credentials & Licenses

• DZ class license
• Working at heights training
• WHMIS certificate

Experience & Knowledge

• Inspection report preparation (pre‑trip, en‑route, post‑trip)
• Use of GPS and other navigation equipment
• Local transportation/travel experience

Additional Information

• Driver’s licence validation and driving record check required
• Physical requirements: physically demanding up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
• Must have own safety equipment (steel‑toed boots, gloves)
