Position: Team Member – Nights (Exeter – New Venue)
Hours per Week: 40Pay Rate: £12.84 – £13.84 per hourNight Rate (23:00 – 06:00): £13.84 per hour
We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer‑focused team member to work at our new venue in Exeter. The role involves welcoming guests, maintaining the gaming area, and providing excellent service during the night shift.
Duties
- Ensure venue housekeeping is of the highest standard; regularly clean gaming equipment, floors, walls and other surfaces.
- Offer service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
- Monitor customer behaviour, noting suspicious or disruptive actions and reporting them as required.
- Assist with administration, maintaining 100% accuracy.
- Help promotions run smoothly and achieve success.
- Deliver customer service in line with company standards to achieve high customer satisfaction.
- Own and resolve problems, escalating where appropriate in accordance with the complaints policy.
- Interact with customers during the shift and log such interactions in accordance with policy.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation, adhering to the brand dress code while on duty.
- Develop product knowledge to support the customer journey and enjoyment.
- Understand and apply company safeguarding, harassment, victimisation and discrimination policies, actively discouraging inappropriate behaviour on the grounds of race, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
Qualifications & Experience
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Passion for providing first‑class service.
- Flexible and able to work on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Independent and collaborative work style.
- Experience in retail, hospitality or gambling environments.
- Experience delivering excellent customer service.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- Attention to detail.
- Will receive industry and compliance training.
