Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated, skilled, and enthusiastic teacher to join our Languages faculty. The ideal candidate will be passionate about French and Spanish and committed to inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
Working days are Thursday and Friday.
As part of our innovative approach to education, we have recently embarked on a 1 to 1 device digital journey. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience integrating digital skills into teaching practice, enhancing both student engagement and learning.
You should be committed to further raising the attainment and achievement of all pupils and demonstrate an active interest in current educational developments.
The successful candidate will be encouraged to contribute to the wider life of the school and extend the range of extracurricular clubs offered.
Pre‑Employment Checks
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You must provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both pre‑employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
Salary Scheme
Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
