Overview
A large and well-established secondary school in Redbridge is seeking an enthusiastic Economics Teacher starting in September 2026. The school is also open to strong Maths ECTs with an Economics degree who are confident delivering Economics at KS4 and KS5. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated early‑career teacher to join a supportive department and develop their teaching across both subjects.
Responsibilities
- Teach Economics at KS4 and KS5
- Opportunity to teach Maths at KS3/KS4 (depending on timetable)
- Plan and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons
- Support student progress and attainment
Qualifications
- Hold (or be working towards) QTS
- Have a degree in Economics or a closely related subject
- Be a Maths ECT with strong subject knowledge
- Be confident, motivated, and eager to develop
- Demonstrate strong classroom practice and a passion for teaching
