Our Temporary Staffing Administrator role is not a typical admin job. It is a full‑time office position based at Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital, requiring someone who can thrive in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate induction and training for all staff groups (except Medical), ensuring staff have the necessary knowledge, skills and training to work on the bank.
- Assist in providing comprehensive, effective and efficient Temporary Staffing services for BCUHB.
- Manage a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive workload with constantly changing priorities and adapt quickly between tasks.
- Carry out a wide variety of tasks: set up training and shadow shifts, monitor training compliance, maintain electronic files, verify information for payroll, support bank and agency workers, work with different systems, prepare reports, support recruitment and career events, and answer queries by phone, e‑mail or face‑to‑face.
- Work as part of the local Temporary Staffing team, supported by other Temporary Staffing Teams across BCUHB and the People Services teams (Recruitment, E‑Rostering, HR) in a compassionate leadership culture.
Qualifications
Desirable to speak Welsh; Welsh or English speakers are equally welcome. No mandatory qualifications listed, but experience in a fast‑paced administrative environment is preferred.
