Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Art & Design lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, assess and monitor student progress in line with departmental expectations
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating studio environment
- Support students in developing practical skills, creative thinking and independent project work
- Contribute to curriculum development, collaborative planning and departmental initiatives
- Maintain strong behaviour management and a confident classroom presence
Pre-requisites
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Art & Design, including practical and theoretical elements
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
- Ability to inspire creativity and support students of varying abilities
- Excellent organisation, communication and behaviour‑management skills
- Availability to start immediately or from September, depending on circumstances
