An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and proactive accounting professional to join a well-established team in Derry/Londonderry on a full-time, permanent basis. Operating Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role offers an immediate start and a highly competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £50,000, depending on level of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Respond to client queries regarding tax, payroll, VAT, and accounting matters.
Prepare and submit personal and business tax returns.
Complete VAT returns, payroll processing, and bookkeeping for a diverse client portfolio.
Provide tax planning support to individuals and businesses, advising on tax-efficient strategies and ensuring compliance with current tax legislation.
What We Need From You
ACCA Qualified (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
Degree in accounting, finance, or related subject
Previous experience in accounting role
Strong knowledge of tax, VAT, payroll, and general accounting practices
