Job Description Procurement Solicitor, 5+ PQE, Oxfordshire, up to £75-90,000 (DOE). Excellent opportunity for an experienced Procurement Lawyer to join the growing national team of this Legal 500 firm. nThe firm is seeking an experienced Solicitor to join its leading national cross-sector Public Procurement team. In this role, you will provide specialist support and advice on public procurement law to clients across both the public and private sectors. You will be involved in all aspects of procurement matters, acting for both contracting authorities and suppliers.nKey responsibilities will include drafting and advising on procurement documentation throughout the procurement lifecycle, from contract notices and tender documentation to evaluation strategies, standstill communications, and contract awards. You will also advise on procurement strategies, deliver broader procurement advisory work, and provide guidance on procurement challenges, disputes, and decision-making processes.nIn addition, you will play an active role in business development activities, helping to strengthen and expand client relationships, while also mentoring and supervising junior team members and supporting their professional development.nThe successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ PQE and proven experience in public procurement law. Strong commercial awareness, excellent legal and analytical skills, and a sound understanding of the public sector are essential, together with a genuine interest in and enthusiasm for public procurement work.
