Job Description:

Job Description The role is primarily focused on the Critical Security Infrastructure (CSI) Project, with support to business-as-usual activities as required. Reporting to the CDM SME / HSEQ Lead, the CDM Coordinator supports the development and continual improvement of HSEQ management systems in line with the One ISS Way, embedding effective safe systems of work, ensuring legislative compliance, and promoting a proactive safety culture. This is a mobile, UK-based role requiring extensive site visits and a clean UK driving licence. Key Responsibilities Provide CDM advice to colleagues and clients, managing health and safety aspects of construction projects in line with CDM Regulations Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) Issue Authorities to Work and Permits to Work Conduct risk assessments, site audits, and compliance inspections Assist with preparation of PCI/PCC documentation and Health & Safety Files Support HSE notifications where applicable and assist with accident and incident investigations Collaborate with client counterparts, account teams, and third parties to ensure HSEQ/CDM requirements are met Use business reporting tools, including Insight, to identify risk trends and provide actionable guidance to improve safety performance Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications IOSH certificate CITB CDM qualification SSSTS or SMSTS Valid CSCS card Previous HSEQ experience with a strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards Proven ability to identify, assess, and manage operational risks effectively Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced, mobile environment Demonstrable commitment to embedding a safety-first culture Clean UK driving licence with flexibility to travel as required The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
