Overview
We’re currently looking for an experienced and qualified Fire & Security Engineer to join our Property Compliance Team covering the Devon area. As you’ll spend a fair amount of time on the road we will provide you with a business-use van and fuel card so you will not be out of pocket. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
Working Hours & Conditions
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with the opportunity to supplement your salary through participation in the out-of-hours rota, minimum 1 in 10 weeks.
What You’ll Do
- Test, service and install fire systems, emergency lighting, AOV and CCTV.
- Identify faults and carry out repair or installation work.
- Maintain door entry, door access and door operator systems.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of 2 years industry experience.
- F.I.A. or equivalent certifications.
- Electrical qualification (preferred, not essential).
- Proven industry experience for fire and door entry & access desirable.
Key Requirements
Experience working in occupied premises and the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Can work independently or as part of a team and be confident using IT technology such as iPads.
Full and current driving licence with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience and the ability to drive a company van.
Preference for candidates living within a 20‑mile radius of Exeter.
