Senior Project Manager

Essentia, part of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to play a key role within its Estate Development function.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a variety of key major capital projects across the GSTT estate portfolio.
• Manage complex healthcare infrastructure projects from planning through to execution, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Engage with stakeholders and coordinate cross‑functional teams to facilitate project success.
• Oversee procurement and delivery of refurbishment projects in a complex estate setting.
• Maintain project performance, reporting, and quality assurance in live, operational, critical environments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience leading the procurement and delivery of refurbishment projects in a complex estate setting.
• Strong background in capital project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑functional coordination.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to proactively develop positive relationships across diverse stakeholders.
• Experience delivering projects in live, operational, critical environments is particularly advantageous.
• Proven track record of managing projects with values routinely exceeding £50m.
