We are recruiting for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Shift Engineer to join the engineering team at a prestigious 5 Star hotel in Watford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance professional with experience in building services, facilities maintenance, or hotel engineering to join a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the hotel
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical and general building faults
• Ensuring all plant, equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standard
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and departments
• Completing maintenance records and compliance checks
• Supporting health and safety procedures across the site

Requirements

• Previous maintenance engineering or building maintenance experience
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical or general maintenance disciplines
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A flexible approach to shift work
