Senior Assessment Manager – Salary: £45,100 – £60,400 – Location: Cambridge, UK – Contract: Permanent – Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week.

About The Role

You will be a subject specialist in the Business and General team, responsible for signing off the exams that students take each series. The position requires a background in Accounting or a related business subject. You will collaborate with Development colleagues to design syllabuses and manage the lifecycle of a portfolio of syllabuses.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the production of all assessment materials to ensure successful delivery for learners.
  • When not creating or signing off exams, work on grading and setting learner thresholds.
  • Recruit, allocate, manage performance and succession plan for Assessment Specialists, including Setters, Revisers, Vetters, and Assistant Examiners.
  • Collaborate with ministry customers worldwide to develop and revise syllabuses.

About You

  • Degree in Accounting or another business‑related subject.
  • Very high standard of English and knowledge of assessments in an educational setting.
  • Experience teaching in the classroom, possibly with knowledge of international education.

  • International teaching experience.
  • Post‑graduate qualifications in educational assessment, project management, or experience in examination.
