What We Need

Corpay is looking to hire a Business Development Executive within our Allstar Business Solutions division. This position falls under our Fuel & Fleet Payments line of business and is located in our Knaresborough office in North Yorkshire.

Your Role

In this role, you will be part of a high performing team, working full‑time to grow AllStar’s commercial presence by bringing in new business partners and prospecting, selling, and on‑boarding new clients.

How We Work

As a Business Development Executive you will be based from our Knaresborough office, initially 5 days per week, with the option to work hybrid following training. Our business operating hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5.00pm.

Role Responsibilities

  • Selling – Achievement of individual revenue and sales targets. Work with new and existing medium‑to‑large fleets, supporting their transition to EV by providing our charging solutions. Predominantly 90% via telephone/Zoom and 10% face to face.
  • Reviewing and planning – Regular detailed commercial reviews of the sales pipeline to identify opportunities and risks. Each opportunity requires a specific strategy and action plan to manage deliverables.
  • Consulting – Provide professional service aligned with our core values, offering effective solutions to maximise success.
  • Continuous self‑improvement – Commit to training opportunities, gain thorough knowledge of all products, processes and services, and network effectively across channels to enhance visibility.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in telesales or similar sales role; SaaS sales advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish long‑term relationships.
  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • High resilience and ability to handle rejection.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.
