We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Person / Warehouse Operative / Warehouse Associate to assist with the daily operations of the warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving shipments, organizing stock, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Label, sort, and store inventory in designated locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if licensed).
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Prepare goods for shipment and dispatch.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
- Report damaged goods or shortages to supervisors.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not always required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic numeracy and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift license (desirable for some roles).
- Flexible and dependable work ethic.
Working Conditions
