About the role

You will be a Product Manager responsible for the Connex contact platform. This platform drives every customer interaction. You will work closely with operational teams, ensuring agents have the right tools to support customers effectively, efficiently, and in line with FCA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design and Operations to deliver reliable, compliant, and scalable customer experiences.
  • Focus on the customer journey from acquisition through to the end of the agreement.
  • Improve tools and experiences for both customers and internal teams while maintaining compliance.
  • Engage stakeholders across customer services, collections and complaints and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
  • Identify ways to simplify operational processes and reduce manual work.
  • Ensure the platform scales effectively as the business grows.
  • Improve reliability and clarity of customer communications in regulated environments.
  • Ensure fair outcomes for customers in financial difficulty and meet evolving regulatory and compliance requirements.

What you’ll be doing day‑to‑day

  • Prioritise and deliver platform improvements and operational enhancements in partnership with the Senior Product Manager.
  • Maintain a backlog of improvements, regulatory requirements and operational enhancements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define, refine and deliver changes that improve system reliability, scalability and operational efficiency.
  • Work with operations, legal and compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements and deliver fair outcomes.
  • Support audits by providing product context, documentation and evidence of system operation.
  • Monitor performance of delivered changes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Continue improvement of internal tools and workflows used by customer‑service, collections and complaints teams.

About You

  • At least two years of product management experience, preferably in a startup or scale‑up, finance or automotive sector.
  • Experience running agile product teams and delivering results.
  • Strong prioritisation skills – able to make tough decisions and manage trade‑offs.
  • Excellent communication across engineering, operational teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset.
  • Interpersonal skills – humble, build trust and seek consensus or escalation when needed.

We have a hybrid working model. The role is based in London or Manchester. Travel between the two offices may be required.
