Connect with small and medium‑size business owners, introduce them to Sage, and build a pipeline of potential customers. You’ll lead the first conversation as a front‑line BDR, using BANT or SPIN frameworks to qualify leads and sharpen objection‑handling skills. The role is based in Newcastle (hybrid schedule – three days a week in office), and the product combines proven expertise with modern tools such as Sage Ai.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute high‑volume cold outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, or other creative approaches) to generate new leads.
  • Qualify prospects using BANT or SPIN and document interactions in the CRM.
  • Manage objections skillfully and nurture relationships to move prospects through the sales pipeline.
  • Participate in a comprehensive onboarding programme and ongoing training to increase effectiveness.
  • Report daily activity metrics and provide insights to improve outreach strategies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a lead‑generating sales role.
  • Basic understanding of sales frameworks such as BANT or SPIN.
  • Ability to share examples of how you’ve handled objections.
  • Comfortable with managing a high volume of outreach and meeting daily activity targets.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
