IMS & Improvement Lead
Location: Clarke, 132A Raceview Road
Role Summary
- Support the business in maintaining compliance with all ISO standards and company policies.
- Obtain and maintain compliance to third‑party audit requirements such as Achilles / Constructionline.
- Conduct and report on internal audits across office, site, and factory locations.
- Lead external audits, liaising with auditors and coordinating audit activities to ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain and update IMS documentation, procedures, and records.
- Track and monitor corrective and preventive actions, ensuring timely close‑out.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support their implementation.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across all departments to promote a culture of compliance and shared accountability.
- Provide advice, support, and training to staff on IMS processes and compliance requirements.
- Stay up to date with changes in relevant legislation, standards, and best practice, ensuring the company remains compliant.
- Support the development and delivery of compliance performance reports and key metrics for management review.
- Champion the company’s commitment to Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across all functions.

Required Criteria
- Experience in maintaining and improving an IMS.
- IMS internal auditing qualification (CQI, IRCA, BSI or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 45001).
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Effective communication, problem‑solving and teamwork abilities.
Desired Criteria
- Relevant qualification in Health & Safety, Quality, or Environmental Management.
- Previous experience in a construction or manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Previous experience with Constructionline, Achilles and/or Considerate Contractor Scheme is desirable.
