Responsibilities
As an Alternative Provision Learning Coach, you will support learners across various groups, including those on the 14-19 provision pathways, fostering their academic, personal, and social development. You will assist during both structured sessions and unstructured times, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for engagement and growth.
Safeguarding & Legal Requirements
- All staff have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of learners.
- All new starters must complete required pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
- For roles involving direct interaction with learners, registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is mandatory.

Work Arrangements
Roles are campus-based to support teaching, learner experience and service delivery. Postholders may request flexible working, including limited remote working, under the College’s Flexible Working Process. Requests are considered individually based on role needs and service coverage.
