About the Role

We are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for an Alternative Provision Learning Coach to support learners and teaching staff on our 14-16 pathway. If you are passionate about transforming lives through education and thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

As an Alternative Provision Learning Coach, you will support learners across various groups, including those on the 14-19 provision pathways, fostering their academic, personal, and social development. You will assist during both structured sessions and unstructured times, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for engagement and growth.

Safeguarding & Legal Requirements

  • All staff have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of learners.
  • All new starters must complete required pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
  • For roles involving direct interaction with learners, registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is mandatory.

Roles are campus-based to support teaching, learner experience and service delivery. Postholders may request flexible working, including limited remote working, under the College’s Flexible Working Process.
