Location: Chippenham (Wiltshire)

Salary: Up to £32,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, 1 hour lunch; Every second Saturday, 8:00am to 12:30pm

Contract type: Permanent

We are currently looking for an experienced Service Advisor in and around Chippenham (Wiltshire) who is practically minded, hardworking and looking to extend their skills into a rewarding career in the automotive industry. Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience with the brand Ford.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing clear and accurate advice on servicing, repairs, costs, and timescales
• Managing customer bookings and scheduling work efficiently into the workshop
• Liaising closely with technicians and the workshop team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of work
• Keeping customers regularly updated on the progress of their vehicle
• Assisting in the handling of customer queries and resolving issues professionally
• Supporting and guiding other Service Advisors where required
• Arranging courtesy cars or alternative transport when necessary

Skills Required

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a franchised dealership environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
• Professional and confident telephone manner
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
• A positive attitude and strong team player mentality
