Package

  • £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience
  • Company vehicle or car allowance

  • Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

The Role

As Group Fleet Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the fleet remains compliant, safe, available and cost‑effective.

Your duties will include:

  • Leading fleet maintenance operations across multiple locations.
  • Driving preventative maintenance programmes and best practice.
  • Ensuring compliance with DVSA regulations and Operator Licence requirements.
  • Managing workshops, technicians and maintenance teams.
  • Monitoring fleet performance, downtime and maintenance costs.Managing supplier relationships and maintenance contracts.
  • Supporting long‑term fleet replacement and asset management strategies.
  • Delivering continuous improvement projects and operational efficiencies.
  • Reporting directly to senior leadership on fleet performance and compliance.

  • Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Manager

You’ll ideally have:

  • Multi‑site fleet or workshop management experience.
  • Strong commercial vehicle maintenance knowledge.
  • Excellent understanding of DVSA compliance and Operator Licence requirements.
  • CPC qualifications (desirable)
  • Experience managing maintenance budgets and suppliers.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
