Business Development Professional
Responsibilities include:
- Promote work‑related programmes such as Degree Apprenticeships, Apprenticeship Units, short courses, and other non‑degree, non‑credit offerings.
- Collaborate with employers across all sectors as part of workforce planning.
- Identify and secure income‑generating opportunities for NU London and its Global Network.
- Develop and facilitate relationships between higher‑education sectors and the business community, applying knowledge of business‑side innovation.
- Develop winning funding proposals to enhance capacity for delivering innovation services.
- Engage externally via in‑person meetings, web conferences, email, and telephone with organisations valued by NU London.
- Champion, inspire, and communicate business‑collaboration opportunities, acting as a key internal appointment in external business development activities.
- Perform field‑based work, requiring travel within the UK and attendance at the London‑based office as needed, while working in a hybrid environment.
Qualifications expected:
- Experience working with Apprenticeship programmes.
- Experience developing and facilitating relationships between higher‑education sectors and the business community.
- Understanding of the importance of innovation in a business context.
- Proactive and results‑driven attitude.
- Capability to develop winning funding proposals.
