Design Higher Level Apprenticeship – Antrim
Mivan is a dynamic and progressive specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor with a reputation for excellence and innovation. We are currently recruiting for a Design Higher Level Apprentice to join our design teams across multiple projects.
Studying a Higher Level Apprenticeship at Mivan gives you the opportunity to earn while you learn and develop your skills to enable you to reach your full potential. You will be provided with a structured training programme of both on-the-job and classroom-based instruction leading to an industry recognised qualification.
Main duties will include:
Provide a support function for the Design Team.
Assist with the preparation and development of design drawings, documents, presentations, and project information as required.
Attend internal project and hand-over meetings as required.
Participate fully in all training and development activities and attend all related courses and other training as arranged.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to support project delivery and team objectives.
Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures, quality standards, and deadlines.
Undertake any other duties and projects allocated which are within the individual’s sphere of knowledge, experience, or competency.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
The commitment and motivation to participate in The Navigate Programme and undertake the required training and development.
A genuine interest in design and the built environment
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Positive attitude with a proactive approach to work and learning
Ability to follow instructions and work to agreed deadlines
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
