Nationwide Field Electrician (Contractor)

Location: Nationwide Travel Required, accepting candidates across England.

ICEE Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Nationwide Field Electrician (Contractor) to support the delivery of electrical installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance works across a range of projects throughout the UK.

Working across sectors including EV infrastructure, commercial installations, and critical infrastructure environments, this role plays a key part in ensuring all works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations in line with current regulations and project specifications
• Perform inspection and testing of electrical systems, including certification and reporting
• Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works efficiently on-site
• Complete periodic inspections (EICR) across a variety of environments
• Ensure all works comply with the latest BS 7671 (18th Edition) regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation, including test results and job reports
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.

Requirements

• Fully qualified electrician with 18th Edition (BS 7671) certification.
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to travel nationwide, as well as frequent nights away.
• ECS Gold Card (preferred)
