Sourcing & Production Manager

Entertainment – scaling challenger brand

Hybrid Central London (4 days in the office, 1 from home)

£50,000 – £60,000

Ignite are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing entertainment challenger brand to hire a Sourcing & Production Manager, following phenomenal success and viral product traction. The business is now entering an exciting scale-up phase, with ambitious plans to expand its product range and global presence.

This is a hands-on, commercially focused role where you’ll take ownership of sourcing and production, working closely with the Head of Operations and cross-functional teams to ensure products are delivered on time, to spec and at the right cost.

What will you be doing?

⭐️ Leading sourcing and onboarding of manufacturing partners across global markets

⭐️ Managing supplier relationships, including day-to-day communication and performance

⭐️ Assessing suppliers across cost, quality and reliability, ensuring the best partners are in place ⭐️ Negotiating pricing, MOQs, contracts, payment terms and lead times

⭐️ Owning product costing end-to-end, including components, packaging and freight

⭐️ Identifying cost-saving initiatives and opportunities to improve margins

⭐️ Managing the production pipeline from purchase order through to delivery

⭐️ Tracking supplier capacity and lead times, proactively mitigating delays

⭐️ Coordinating sampling, tooling and pre-production approvals

⭐️ Setting and maintaining quality control standards and managing third-party inspections

⭐️ Supporting new product development from concept through to first production run

⭐️ Building processes and playbooks to support supply chain scalability and continuous improvement

Who are we looking for?

⭐️ Proven experience sourcing and producing physical consumer goods internationally

⭐️ Experience working for a brand under £30m

⭐ Hands-on experience working with global manufacturers, particularly across China

⭐️ Strong commercial acumen, including negotiation of cost, contracts and supplier terms

⭐️ Track record of driving cost savings and margin improvement

⭐️ Experience managing supplier relationships and factory performance

⭐️ Strong quality control mindset with attention to detail on product standards
