About you
- Previous experience in a HR Officer or HR administrative role
- Strong understanding of HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Desirable: CIPD Level 3 or higher (or working towards), experience in employee relations casework and HR data analysis
What you’ll do
- Manage all aspects of employee absence, including sickness and maternity/paternity processes, ensuring compliance and supporting employee welfare
- Partner with management to handle employee relations cases, investigations, and grievance resolutions
- Coordinate recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience
- Build strong relationships with managers and staff, supporting engagement initiatives and HR advice
- Maintain accurate HR records and systems, supporting payroll processes and responding to queries
- Contribute to HR projects, initiatives, and continuous improvement of HR practices
