Location: belfast/ Co Down/ Northern Ireland Salary: Starting at £40k – £45k (DOE) per annumHours: Monday to Friday/ 40 hours

About the Role

Kenect Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a growing local Northern Ireland business with an excellent reputation in the solar industry. Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced Roofers / Roofing Joiners to join their expanding installation team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out roofing works to support the installation of solar PV systems (domestic & commercial)
• Install roof mounting systems safely and efficiently
• Work at height in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Repair and maintain roofs where necessary to ensure suitability for solar installations
• Work closely with electricians and the wider installation team to deliver projects on time
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Roofer or Roofing Joiner (domestic or commercial)
• Comfortable working at height with appropriate training/certifications
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel with overnight stays as required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
