Reliability Engineer – Belfast – Dayshift
We are hiring for our client, a well-established and highly successful production business, who are seeking to appoint a Reliability Engineer to join their engineering team in Belfast. This Reliability Engineer opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in improving equipment performance, driving preventative maintenance strategies and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

The Role
- Lead reliability and continuous improvement initiatives across production assets
- Analyse equipment performance and identify opportunities to reduce downtime
- Develop and optimise preventative and predictive maintenance strategies
- Use root cause analysis techniques to investigate recurring equipment failures
- Work closely with maintenance and production teams to improve plant performance
- Monitor key reliability metrics and recommend engineering improvements
- Support capital projects and equipment upgrades where required
- Promote best practice maintenance standards and continuous improvement culture
The Person
- Relevant engineering qualification
- Previous experience in a Reliability Engineer or similar engineering role within manufacturing or FMCG
- Strong understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance principles
- Experience carrying out root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and asset reliability techniques
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
The Reward
- Salary of £50,000-£52,000
- Monday to Friday dayshift working pattern
