We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Kit Assembler to join our manufacturing operations team in Toome. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling kits of materials and components required for production builds, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery to the production floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret work orders and production schedules to determine material requirements
- Locate, pick, and organize materials from inventory based on part numbers or Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Assemble complete and accurate kits of components required for specific jobs or builds
- Verify part numbers and quantities prior to releasing kits to production
- Update inventory records within the companys ERP or warehouse management system
- Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labelled storage and staging areas
- Identify and report any shortages, damaged components, or discrepancies to the appropriate team members
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, work orders, and BOMs
- Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems (preferred)
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environment is an asset
