Creative Support is a not‑for‑profit organisation which provides high‑quality, person‑centred support to people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health needs and dementia. The support we offer is tailored to each client’s needs and encourages independence and community engagement.
The Tameside Extra Care Services comprise four extra care sites across the Tameside borough – Dukinfield, Ashton Under Lyne, Stalybridge and Droylsden – and we now have a newly created role at each site.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and domestic support to vulnerable adults.
- Support individuals to access work, education and social opportunities.
- Encourage independence and community engagement through activities such as sports, creative arts, music and cooking.
- Work on a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends and sleep‑ins.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience working with vulnerable adults in a care setting is essential.
- Willingness to work flexible hours on a roster basis.
- Gumption and a can‑do attitude.
- Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship under the UKVI scheme.
