Large Format Print Operator – West Midlands – £Depending on Experience

We are on the lookout for an experienced Large Format Print Operator to roll their sleeves up and support an already successful production operation!

Qualifications

• A good background in large format print, ideally operating a Konsberg, Zund cutter, or Vutek.
• Experience of print finishing including mounting, laminating, guillotine, vinyl application, and routing.
• Applicants must be residents of the UK and have recent experience in the print, packaging, or paper sectors.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating printers to produce a variety of products ranging from posters, signage, banners, wall graphics, window graphics, Foamex boards, Dibond boards, and profile cut vinyls/stickers.
• Ensuring maximum machine efficiency while completing orders on time and in accordance with customers’ expectations.
• Operating and maintaining RIP and various print production equipment, loading and operating large roll-to-roll printers.
• Operating and maintaining all large format finishing equipment; Konsberg cutting table, Easymount laminator, mounting table, reporting equipment problems, and placing service calls when required.
• Ensuring the Job Bag process is correctly maintained and the ISO 9001 finishing procedure is correctly followed.
• Establishing colour approvals on the printer with or without customer interactions and maintaining colour and print quality for production runs.
• Ensuring that all work completed is of the highest possible standard and quality with high degrees of accuracy.
• Overseeing machinery & equipment used daily and ensuring that it is maintained, and kept in clean, good working order.
