Part Time Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties

Part time: 24 hours per week over 3 days, Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota. Salary £16,881 per annum plus pension and company benefits.

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties to join our Brewers Decorator Centre in St Austell. The role involves delivering contactless orders around the local area and providing excellent in‑store customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver contactless orders to customers in and around the local area using the company Transit van.
• Mix paint, process specialist orders and request special stock within the branch network.
• Build customer relationships, identify needs and recommend suitable products.
• Maintain an organised and safe warehouse in line with company standards.
• Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in‑store to increase visibility and sales.
• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store.
• Provide exceptional service to customers in the branch, contributing to our reputation for quality service.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Approachable, open and friendly personality, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of the Gloucester and surrounding area.
• Full clean manual driving licence.
• Motivated to learn, develop skills and progress within the industry.
• Previous retail experience or product knowledge is an advantage but not essential; full training will be provided.
