Qualified Pharmacy Assistant – Chorley, Job Ref: 11761
We are looking to recruit a zero‑hour Qualified Pharmacy Assistant on a fixed term contract to work at branch 581 located at 13 – 17 Peel Street, Chorley, PR7 2EF. The role is to cover annual leave and sickness.
Responsibilities
As a Qualified Pharmacy Assistant, you will support the business in delivering an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to our customers, with specific responsibility for assisting with the dispensing and labelling of prescription items. Additional duties include receiving prescriptions, handing out prescription items and helping with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services is essential.
- Strong planning skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are required.
- Excellent people skills and the ability to work as part of a well‑established team.
