Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite)Rate: £450-£500 per day (Inside IR35)Contract Length: 6 monthsClearance: SC Clearance preferred

An experienced Content Designer is required to join a multidisciplinary delivery team working on complex services and user journeys. This role focuses on designing clear, user‑centred content that helps users understand and complete their goals, while supporting broader organisational objectives.

You will work across individual pieces of content as well as end‑to‑end service journeys, contributing to transactions, products and communications that span both digital and offline channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver user‑centred content that is clear, accessible and appropriate for its context
  • Ensure the right content is presented to users, in the right place, and in the most effective format
  • Work from discovery through to live, collaborating closely with user researchers, service designers and interaction designers
  • Contribute to services that meet GDS standards and measurable user outcomes
  • Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships, influencing content decisions through evidence and insight

Key Skills & Experience (SEO Grade)

  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Proven strategic thinking applied to content and service design
  • Demonstrable user focus, with solid experience in user‑centred content design
  • Experience working to GDS standards within agile delivery environmentsComfortable operating in complex, highly governed or regulated settings
