Join Imperial Business School as a Data & Technology Coordinator, where you’ll use data, technology and innovation to help personalise the student experience, improve reporting on employment outcomes, and generate insights that support the School’s ambitious strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a cutting-edge, data-driven service supporting a diverse global community of students and alumni.

Your key duties will include: 

  • Reporting to the Head of Data and Technology to drive the employment outcomes data collection for 18 programmes at the Business School covering outcomes of 3,000+ MSc and MBA students a year 
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Business School and pro-actively contact students and alumni to support the gathering of key employment data using a range of methods and channels; maintain and update annual planners to support this activity 
  • Develop, embed and coordinate the use of key online platforms used by the Careers & Student Life division including leading and maintaining Symplicity a world-leading careers management system and reporting tool 
  • Work with the Head of Data and Technology to produce employment reports for our MSc and MBA Programmes and to report data for external School and programme ranking submissions. 
  • Champion the use of PowerBI dashboards for key stakeholders to access information to inform strategic decisions and planning 
  • To excel in this role, you will need: 

  • Good administration skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Strong analytic and technology skills including advanced Excel skills, SQL and Python
  • Experience of gathering/participating in data collection
  • Experience and evidence of using data to produce reports and analysis with Power BI 
  • Experience of creating data pipelines from a third-party software into dashboards or equivalent 
  • Able to operate autonomously 
  • A sensitivity to different cultures and employment practices between the UK and elsewhere, with a proven commitment to equality of opportunity
