If you thrive under pressure, love leading teams, and want to play a key role in keeping parcels moving across the UK—this is your opportunity.The RoleAs an Operations Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our night operation, leading warehouse, transport, and van network performance. Working any 5 nights over 7 (typically 22:00 – 09:00, depending on volumes), you’ll ensure the depot runs efficiently, safely, and on budget.You’ll partner closely with Hubs, Transport, and Delivery teams to deliver an end-to-end service, while supporting and deputising for the Depot General Manager. From managing costs and driving productivity, to developing your team and ensuring compliance—you’ll have the autonomy to make a real difference every shift.ResponsibilitiesDeliver the depot operational plan in line with budget, forecasted volumes, and performance targets Drive productivity and manage costs including labour, resource planning, and cost-per-unit (CPU) Maintain high operational standards through compliance with 5S, H&S, and quality audits Ensure high scanning compliance across inbound, outbound, and driver operations Support transport compliance including driver rotas and Working Time Directive adherence Lead and develop your team across recruitment, performance, engagement, and employee relationsInterested?
