Deputy Manager – Residential Care

Join Evermore Care as our Deputy Manager at Astley View, our purpose-built luxury care home in Chorley, and play a vital role in shaping an outstanding care environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to make a meaningful impact, supporting both people and performance in a high-quality, progressive setting.
Working alongside our Home Manager, you’ll help lead the service, inspire your team, and ensure exceptional standards of care for older adults and those living with dementia are delivered.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in day-to-day operations and service delivery
- Oversee and maintain high standards of clinical and care quality
- Lead and support staff teams, including supervision, training, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding, and health & safety standards. Playing a key role in preparing for our first CQC inspection.
- Act as a role model and brand ambassador for Evermore Care
- Engage with the local community and participate in the on-call management rota
- Contribute to occupancy and referral management, ensuring smooth admissions
About You
- Proven leadership experience within elderly or dementia care
- Strong understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding, and mental capacity legislation
- Skilled in team leadership, coaching, and performance management
- Confident in managing the home in the absence of the Home Manager
