Working within a boutique Investment Firm, a junior opportunity to enter a Middle Office Operations role offering responsibilities supporting both back and front office stakeholders. Also, opportunity to develop new skills and investment professional qualifications in these areas.
This newly created role is designed to link the Operations and Investment Teams within this boutique Wealth Management environment. Reporting into the Head of Operations while offering support to the investment team by inputting transactions, chasing brokers for confirmations and managing FX requirements.
This position focuses on reliable, accurate, and timely operational assistance from managing failed trades; checking trade confirmations; dealing with Custodians in executing FX transactions through to providing compliance documentation and support to the Investment Management team where required.
This Operations/Trade Support Assistant is a junior full-time hybrid role based in the City of London and would suit a self-starter who understands operations systems and applications, with additional skills of being comfortable around technology. Opportunity to offer solutions and ideas using new technology and AI to improve current workflows.

- Suitable candidate may already be working within a supportive role in a wealth/investment management environment and looking for a more varied role in a position where they can develop further.
- Will need to demonstrate previous practical experience using AI tools with strong IT/tech skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills for handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, Microsoft and trading/operations platforms) and the ability to learn new systems/skills.
- Prior experience in back-office/trade/investment support role, ideally within the investment/wealth management industry, with an understanding of settlement and reconciliation requirements.
- Ideally candidates should be qualified or working towards an IMC /IOC certification (or similar) and interested in advancing further in other appropriate investment qualifications.
