Job title: Repairs, Investment and Compliance Officer (RICO) Salary: SCP 36-39 (£47,785 – £52,176) per annum Contract: Permanent Work pattern: 35 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday Location: Glasgow (home-agile worker with travel requirement across group stock and Group offices) Do you want to work with a values-driven organisation that makes a difference to people’s lives? Come and join Wheatley Solutions as Repairs, Investment and Compliance Officer. About the role You will be responsible for the delivery and programming of a varied workload. This may include; project management of capital investment works, planning and development of local property cyclical maintenance along with leading on the delivery of any new services and enhancing the existing services. You will have day to day responsibility for certain key aspects, including: Development & management of cyclical maintenance programs Management, programming and delivery of capital investment projects. Identification & management of defects and resolution liaison with internal colleagues / external parties Instruction of works, effective project management including quality assurance General advice and assistance The role will involve working from home, with travel requirements to group stock and offices when required This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure check. The role will be varied and challenging, and will require excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as sound knowledge of the legislative context in which the housing sector operates. You will have excellent technical knowledge and experience of dealing with multiple contractors to deliver an exceptional compliance service to ensure the safety of our homes and customers. You must also be able to demonstrate a flexible approach in meeting changing demands, shaping priorities, influencing senior leaders and being able to effectively manage your own workload in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
