Role Overview
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers for agency work based in Milnthorpe. This role involves multidrop pallet deliveries across the local and surrounding regions, working with a well-established logistics operation.
You will be responsible for completing daily delivery routes efficiently, ensuring goods are delivered safely, on time, and in line with company and client standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles on planned multidrop routes
- Delivering palletised goods to commercial and industrial sites
- Completing 615 drops per shift (varies by route)
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
- Adhering to driver hours, road safety, and company procedures
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous multidrop or pallet delivery experience preferred
- Good knowledge of local and regional road networks
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
