General Manager – Caddi Club
The Golf Club on Your Doorstep.
We took golf out of the countryside and dropped it into London’s neighbourhoods. Premium indoor golf venues powered by TrackMan technology, with proper bars, restaurants, coaching programmes, and a membership community of people who actually love being here.
Our mission: To Make People Smile (even while holding a golf club). Everything we build, from simulator bays to cocktail menus to corporate events, is designed to bring people together and give them the best time possible. Quality, Accessibility, Community, and Trust aren’t just words on a wall. They’re how we hire, how we run our sites, and how we make every decision.
We operate four venues across London, including the largest indoor golf venue of its kind in the UK. We’re hiring a General Manager for our Fulham site, with the opportunity to support our nearby Chelsea venue too. Ideally you’ll live locally. This is your neighbourhood, your venue, your community. That matters to us because it’ll matter to our members.
The Role
You’ll run your site. Not oversee it. Not “support the leadership team in delivering.” Run it. The commercial performance, the team, the member experience, the bar, the food, the events pipeline, the lot. This is your venue.
We need someone who’s as comfortable pulling a shift behind the bar as they are reviewing a P&L. This is a hospitality business first, and the best GMs in hospitality don’t manage from a desk. You’ll be on the floor, working peak shifts and weekends, leading by example, setting the energy, and making sure every member and guest walks out having had a better time than they expected. This is a get-stuck-in role. If you’re looking for Monday to Friday behind a laptop, this isn’t it.
There’s real commercial opportunity here. Membership capacity to fill, events to build out, from corporate bookings to private hire to golf socials, and a food and drink offering that should be as strong as the golf. The right person doesn’t see that as a gap. They see it as the most exciting part of the job.
What You’ll Own
- Commercial performance of the venue: revenue, margins, labour costs, and COGS. You’ll know your numbers and you’ll be accountable for them
- The bar and F&B operation: quality, stock management, menu standards, and margins. You’ll have real bar experience and you’ll use it to make sure the offering is as strong as the golf
- People management: hiring, developing, and holding your team accountable. When someone’s underperforming, you deal with it. When someone’s excelling, they know it
- Member experience and service consistency: protecting the quality our members expect and the community they’ve joined
- Events and commercial growth: building the pipeline, converting enquiries, and making your site the venue people think of first for corporate golf and private hire
- Day-to-day systems and SOPs: making sure the operation runs tight and nothing falls through the cracks
- Operational reporting that gives leadership clean, reliable data without anyone having to chase you
- Facilities, TrackMan simulators, health and safety, and licensing compliance
Who You Are
- You’ve run a venue, a bar, a restaurant, or a comparable operation and you did it well. You know what good looks like because you’ve built it yourself.
- You have real bar experience. Not “an understanding of F&B.” You’ve been behind the bar, you’ve managed stock, you’ve built a drinks offering, and you know what it takes to deliver quality service at pace.
- You’re commercially sharp. You spot where revenue is being left on the table and you act on it without being told. You think like an owner, not a manager.
- You hold people accountable: directly, with clarity, fairness, and follow-through. No one on your team is left wondering where they stand.
- You lead from the front. You’re the first to jump in when the venue is busy, the first to notice when a member isn’t having a great time, and the last to make excuses.
- You care about quality because you understand that’s what earns trust, from members, from your team, and from the business.
- You believe golf should be accessible to everyone, and you’re excited about building a community that reflects that.
- You’re comfortable in a fast-moving environment where the expectation is follow-through, not just good intentions.
- You live locally, or close enough that this site feels like yours. You’ll bump into members on the street, and that’s a good thing.
It’s Probably Not For You If…
- You’re most comfortable when things are running smoothly and see growth as someone else’s job.
- You prefer managing from a distance rather than being present with your team and members.
- You think being GM means you don’t pull shifts on the floor anymore. This role includes peak shifts and weekends as standard.
- You tend to wait for a full brief before getting started, rather than using your initiative to fill the gaps.
- You see things as problems, rather than opportunities.
- Holding people to a high standard is something you find uncomfortable or tend to avoid.
- You measure how hard you’re working by how busy you feel, rather than what’s actually moving the business forward.
What We Offer
- A genuine leadership role with full ownership of your site and real visibility across the business.
- The chance to put your stamp on a venue in one of London’s best neighbourhoods, with the scope to take on more as the business grows.
- A small, ambitious brand that’s still early enough in its journey that the right people genuinely shape how it grows. Two funding rounds done, four sites open, and a clear vision for what comes next.
- A team and a culture that takes the work seriously without taking itself too seriously.
- If you want to run something, not just manage it, we want to hear from you.
